Matching a service to the surface.

The quickest way to pick a service is to look up and name what you see. Square panels resting in a metal grid make a suspended acoustic ceiling, and acoustic tile cleaning is the starting point. A flat painted or textured ceiling in a lobby or corridor falls under commercial ceiling cleaning, which also handles rooms that mix several ceiling types under one roof.

If you can see the deck, beams, ductwork and pipe runs, the ceiling is exposed, and the dust is sitting on top of all that structure. Exposed ceiling cleaning treats the full system and its finishes, while high dusting suits spaces where the main concern is dust on beams, signs, racking tops and ledges rather than the ceiling surface itself.

The finishing services.

Vent and light fixture cleaning targets the two things that make a ceiling look dirtier than it really is: dark rings around supply diffusers and the film on light lenses. It works as a standalone refresh where the tiles are still bright, and it is the natural add-on whenever tiles or a full ceiling are already on the schedule.

Wall and high-surface cleaning picks up everything between the top of routine cleaning and the ceiling line, including upper walls, soffits, bulkheads, window heads and tall signs. In lobbies and atriums it closes the gap between a freshly cleaned ceiling and walls that still carry a grey band near the top.

Building a combined visit.

A walkthrough turns into an accurate written plan faster when you know which rooms matter most, when each area is empty and what sits below the ceiling. Combined services are sequenced from the top down: open deck and structure first where there is one, then fixtures and vents, then tile faces and grid, then upper walls. The protection laid at the start stays in place until the last surface is finished. Our guide to how ceiling cleaning is priced explains what goes into the quote, and you can book a free walkthrough whenever you are ready.

A few useful answers

Choosing a service.

Which service do we need?

Tile grids start with acoustic tile cleaning, painted or mixed ceilings with commercial ceiling cleaning, and open structure with exposed ceiling cleaning or high dusting. The walkthrough confirms it for each room.

Can services be combined into one visit?

Yes. Tiles, grid, vents and fixtures that share a ceiling are cleaned in the same pass, and upper walls can join the same visit, so the whole room finishes even.

Do you work around opening hours?

Yes. Evenings, nights and weekends are all available.

What's the difference between high dusting and exposed ceiling cleaning?

High dusting clears dust from beams, pipes, signage, ledges and fixtures. Exposed ceiling cleaning covers the whole open system, painted deck and ductwork included, with the method matched to each finish.

Is one service enough for a small office suite?

Often a single service covers it. A small suite with a tile ceiling usually needs acoustic tile cleaning plus its vents and lights, and the walkthrough shows whether anything else is worth adding.
